The Innovators Network - on Substack

We're excited to announce that The Innovators Network (TIN) has officially moved to Substack! This marks an important evolution in our mission to reveal the true stories of innovation across the globe.

Our Journey So Far

The Innovators Network began with a simple but powerful belief: innovation is essential to addressing the world's most pressing problems and opportunities. We set out to build a media platform that would tell the full story of innovation – not just the flashy headlines and successful outcomes, but the complete journey from original problem to solution, including all the challenges, trade-offs, and lessons learned along the way.

hrough articles, interviews, and analysis, we've explored innovations across a wide spectrum – from technological breakthroughs to market-disrupting business models, from healthcare transformations to advanced manufacturing techniques. Throughout this journey, our focus has remained steadfast on the people behind these innovations and the real-world context in which they operate.

Why Substack?

As we've grown, we've been searching for a platform that would allow us to:

  1. Build a deeper relationship with our community – Substack's discussion features and direct connection with readers align perfectly with our vision of creating a true network of innovation enthusiasts.

  2. Maintain editorial independence – The subscription model enables us to focus on quality over quantity, depth over clickbait, and honest analysis over hype.

  3. Create a sustainable foundation – While The Innovators Network remains a passion project for our contributors, quality journalism requires resources. Substack's model allows dedicated readers to directly support the stories they value, helping us cover the costs of research, editing, and platform maintenance without compromising our independence or vision.

  4. Simplify the experience – Substack brings together our publishing, newsletter, and community functions in one seamless platform.

What This Means For You

If you're already part of The Innovators Network, your subscription has been automatically transferred to Substack. You'll continue to receive our content in your inbox without any interruption.

For free subscribers, you'll receive the weekly newsletter featuring our latest innovation stories. However, full access to all articles, podcasts, and video content - including the +2o year archive and the ability to suggest stories and innovations to feature will now be available only to our paid subscribers.

For everyone, the reading experience will be cleaner, with improved archives and a more robust discussion section that will allow us to build a true community around innovation stories.

Looking Forward

This move to Substack is more than just a platform change – it represents our commitment to deepening our coverage of innovation in all its forms. With your support, we'll be able to:

  • Devote more time to investigating important but overlooked innovations

  • Provide more context and analysis around emerging trends

  • Expand our network of contributors to include more diverse perspectives

  • Create more meaningful connections between our readers and the innovators we feature

Innovation doesn't happen in isolation, and neither does great journalism. By building a community of supporters, we can collectively advance our understanding of how innovation actually works – beyond the simplistic narratives that often dominate the conversation.

Supporting Our Work

If you value the work we do at The Innovators Network and want to see more of it, we invite you to consider becoming a paid subscriber. Your support directly enables us to dedicate the time and resources needed to tell these important stories with the depth and nuance they deserve.

Paid subscribers gain:

Monthly/Annual Members unlock:

  • Full access to all articles, podcasts, and video content - including the +2o year archive.

  • Ability to suggest stories and innovations to feature

Founding Members receive everything above, plus:
